-dust collection system
-pipe heating system
-electrostatic spraying system
-PE coating system
-water cooling system
-end cutting system
-hydraulic and pneumatic system
-testing system
-electronic control system
Pipe is received and identified, and because ambient temperature affects both the pipe and the coating materials, the first step is a temperature check on the pipe itself rather than on the building. Cold pipe is brought up to a workable temperature before blasting, since blasting a frozen surface gives a profile that will not hold the same way. External shot blasting to Sa 2.5 or better follows, with the abrasive separator set for the abrasive grade available locally. Purging and end masking come next, with the mask position matched to the field joint material the project has specified. Induction heating brings the surface into the coating window, and here the low ambient temperature matters: the pipe loses heat faster, so the transfer time between the heater and the powder booth is treated as a controlled distance rather than an open run. Epoxy powder, adhesive and polyethylene follow in sequence, and cooling uses a water spray circuit arranged so that the circuit can be drained and does not freeze between shifts. End bevelling, holiday detection and gauging close the cycle, and the batch record is issued in the handover language.
1. Pipe diameter:273-1220mm (10-48 Inch)
2. Processing capacity: ≥250m2/h (can be customized up to 800m²/h )
3. Cleaning level: ≥Sa2.5
4. Materials for production: epoxy powder, adhesive, polyethylene
Coating is normally applied to the buyer's own project specification, which in this region is commonly written in the GOST-family documentation convention while referencing ISO 21809-1 or a national three-layer coating standard for the technical requirements. The blast stage delivers a surface prepared to ISO 8501-1. Because the approval route matters as much as the standard, we confirm at quotation stage which documents the buyer's institute needs to see, and we issue the handover set in a form that can be stamped rather than only in the form we normally produce.
Transmission and distribution pipelines in CIS and Central Asian oil and gas fields; municipal heat and water mains; refinery and petrochemical plant piping; export pipelines crossing the region; pipe for projects financed by national development programmes. Buyers are usually either an integrated pipe mill or a project contractor procuring the coating line as part of a larger works package, and in the second case the documentation requirement is driven by the project institute rather than by the plant engineer. We therefore confirm the documentation requirement, the approval route and the transport route before quoting the machine configuration.
Site supervision by 2 to 3 engineers over 20 to 30 days, timed to the construction season rather than to a calendar month, so that commissioning is finished while the building is still warm enough to work in. Training covers cold start procedure, frost protection of the water circuit, and the documentation trail the buyer's own inspection will follow. Documentation in English and Russian covers layout, foundation, electrical, PID and manuals. Critical spares by air within 72 hours, and the recommended holding is agreed at order stage so that the first winter is covered from local stock. Machine warranty 12 months, drive train 24 months.

Why Choose Qingdao Huashida
Our equipment has been delivered into Russia and Central Asia for years, and one customer in the region has expanded four times over eight years, moving through progressively larger diameters on machines from our works. We also operate service arrangements in the region, which is what allows a cold start problem in February to be answered locally rather than by a flights-and-visa process. Our anti-corrosion machinery carries a Shandong Province First-Set Technical Equipment award.
---FAQ---
Q: What is the coldest temperature the machine can be commissioned in?
A: The machine is designed and quoted for a defined ambient range, and we ask for the coldest temperature expected during commissioning rather than during operation, because that is the figure that sets lubricants, seals and frost protection.
Q: Is documentation available in Russian?
A: Yes. The handover set is issued in English and Russian, and we confirm the drawing format the buyer's institute needs to stamp before the order rather than after delivery.
Q: How is the water circuit protected in winter?
A: The circuit is arranged so it can be drained, and the spray and recycle sections are frost-protected. Training covers the cold start and shutdown procedure in detail.
Q: Does the machine have to be shipped by rail?
A: Not always, but rail is common in the region, and package dimensions follow from the transport route. The machine is divided along transport lines, and that decision is taken during design so no late modification is needed.
Q: What power supply does the line use?
A: Normally 380 V or 400 V at 50 Hz, quoted against the site supply, with a transformer sizing note at 120 per cent of installed load so the buyer can check the supply before arrival.
Q: Can the line follow a project specification rather than a named standard?
A: Yes, and in this region it usually does. We work from the buyer's project specification and confirm which parts reference ISO 21809-1 or a national coating standard.
Q: What spare parts should be held locally?
A: The recommended two-year holding is agreed at order stage and is chosen with the winter window in mind, so the parts most likely to need replacing in the first season are already on site.
Q: How long is delivery and commissioning?
A: Delivery is typically 60 to 120 days from deposit and drawing approval depending on configuration, with installation and commissioning of 20 to 30 days scheduled inside the construction season.
