3. Key Configuration

Surface preparation is the foundation of this DN300mm - DN2020mm coating line, featuring external shot blasting machine, 2x37kw blast wheels, 350kg/minx2, sa 2.5 grade that delivers Sa 2.5 cleaning grade per ISO 8501-1 with anchor profile depth of 50-90um. The blasting system incorporates three-stage dust collection (settling chamber -> cyclone separator -> cartridge/bag filter), with Mn13 wear plates for extended service life.

Abrasive velocity reaches 70-85 m/s with bottom-throw wheel design, minimizing abrasive consumption through optimized impact angles. Following blasting, 1000kW intermediate frequency heating, C-type coil, pure water cooling raises pipe temperature to approximately 200deg C using C-type coil with pure water cooling.

The FBE powder application uses multi-gun electrostatic spray with (n+1)x2 redundant design, achieving over 95% powder recovery through stainless steel booth with water cooling. Coating extrusion is handled by SJ-65/30 single screw extruder, 45kW, max output 100 kg/h (adhesive layer) and SJ-120/33 single screw extruder, 280kW, max output 750 kg/h (polyethylene layer), both featuring 38CrMoAlA nitrided screws (0.4-0.7mm depth, >HV740 hardness).

Pipe diameter range covers DN300mm - DN2020mm with standard length of 6-15 meters. The control system uses internationally recognized PLC with 10-inch industrial-grade HMI, VFD from internationally recognized brands, and industrial-grade control components. Post-coating processing includes water spray quench cooling (<=20deg C, >=0.3MPa, 26-30 m3/h), rotary peeler knife end beveling (~40 sec/pipe), and high-voltage holiday detection. Staffing requirement is 4-5 operators, with minimum 9-meter workshop height for large diameter configurations.
