Product Overview
The HDPE Jacket Pipe Extrusion Line by Qingdao Huashida Machinery Co., Ltd. is designed for the production of HDPE outer protective pipes used in pre-insulated pipe systems.
The complete line integrates extrusion, vacuum calibration, cooling, haul-off, cutting and stacking into one continuous production process. It features high automation, stable operation, high extrusion capacity and reliable long-term performance.
Compared with traditional internal-pressure sizing systems, vacuum calibration provides better dimensional accuracy, higher pipe stiffness, improved pressure resistance and a smooth, uniform surface.
Production Process
HDPE Jacket Pipe Production Process
Vacuum Feeding → Hot Air Drying → Extrusion & Plasticizing → Molding → Vacuum Calibration → Water Cooling → Haul-off → Cutting → Stacking
The process ensures stable pipe dimensions and consistent product quality from raw material to finished HDPE jacket pipe.
PU Foaming Pre-Insulated Pipe Process
A typical PU pre-insulated pipe consists of:
- Steel pipe surface pretreatment
- HDPE outer protective pipe production
- PU insulation layer foaming
For PU foaming, the steel pipe is inserted into the HDPE jacket pipe, with supports placed in the annular space. Both ends are sealed with flanges, and the assembly is placed on the foaming platform. A high-pressure foaming machine injects polyurethane material into the annular space. After foaming and curing, the end sealing structures are removed to complete the insulated pipe.
