The steel pipe anti-corrosion coating production line is engineered to apply protective coatings for steel pipes of diverse diameters, widely deployed for heating, gas and oil pipeline projects. It accommodates multiple coating processes: FBE, dual-layer FBE, 2-layer PE, 2-layer PP and classic 3LPE three-layer polyethylene systems.

3LPE Coating Structure

The 3LPE system adopts a three-tier composite structure:

• Epoxy powder primer: delivers robust adhesion and anti-corrosion performance
• Adhesive intermediate layer: creates reliable bonding between primer and outer sheath
• Polyethylene top layer: provides mechanical shielding and electrical insulation

This layered construction delivers outstanding anti-corrosion, anti-aging and mechanical properties, substantially prolonging pipeline service life under harsh operating conditions.

Process:

Pipe loading to the rack → Feeding to main conveyor via shuttle mechanism  → Medium-frequency preheating → External shot blasting (with external dust removal system) → External derusting inspection (unqualified pipes return) → Pipe transfer by lifting trolley → internal shot blasting (with internal dust removal) → Internal derusting inspection (unqualified pipes return) → Label sticking on pipe ends for qualified pipes
Straight conveying → Transfer to 3PE coating station →  IF Heating →FBE Powder Coating→ AD Adhesive powder Spraying→PE Wrapping→ Silicone Roller Compaction→PE Layer seperating→Water Cooling→Transfer Mechanism Offline Loading→ Holiday inspection → Pipe marking, packaging and finished product unloading
