Product Overview

This Turnkey Cold Applied PE Anti-Corrosion Tape Production Line is engineered exclusively for manufacturing high-performance cold applied polyethylene anti-corrosion wrapping tape for buried pipeline protection in oil and gas transmission, natural gas distribution, municipal water supply, and industrial buried pipeline anti-corrosion systems.

Unlike partial systems requiring separate film extrusion and coating equipment from multiple vendors, this turnkey cold applied tape production line integrates every production stage - PE base film co-extrusion, corona surface treatment, slot-die adhesive coating, tension-controlled slitting, and multi-station rewinding - into one complete, vendor-unified system ready to produce buried pipeline protection tape from day one.

Production Process
1. PE Base Film Co-Extrusion

This production line adopts high-quality HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene) and LDPE as primary substrate materials. Raw polymer materials are fully melted and plasticized via the high-efficiency SJ-75X30 single-screw extruder, uniformly forced through a high-precision die head mold (type 1000), and finalized using multi-roller tape-casting cooling and shaping technology.

2. Corona Treatment & Slot-Die Adhesive Coating

Before adhesive application, the PE base film undergoes corona surface treatment via the integrated 1300mm silicone stick corona processor. The integrated slot-die adhesive coating machine unit then applies a specially formulated high-performance adhesive compound uniformly on single or double sides of the corona-treated HDPE base film.

3. Tension-Controlled Slitting & Multi-Station Rewinding

The final phase utilizes an automatic tension-controlled slitting system to process the coated master roll. The material is precisely slit into customized commercial widths (up to 1000mm maximum) based on end-user project specifications.
