The Internal FBE + External 3LPE Dual-Wall Anti-Corrosion System:
Fusion Bonded Epoxy (FBE) powder is a thermosetting, non-toxic anti-corrosion coating material. After high-temperature curing, it forms a high-molecular cross-linked dense protective structure with outstanding chemical anti-corrosion performance, wear resistance, anti-aging properties, and mechanical strength.
Layer 1 - FBE Epoxy Base Layer: Forms a high-molecular cross-linked dense protective structure after high-temperature curing, closely bonding with the Sa2.5 shot-blasted outer steel pipe surface - delivering excellent adhesion, acid/alkali resistance, and cathodic disbondment resistance meeting DNV and DIN 30670 standards.
Layer 2 - Polymer Adhesive Middle Layer: Hot melt adhesive layer perfectly combines with uncured FBE epoxy powder while simultaneously bonding to the outer polyethylene layer - forming the critical structural bridge that ensures long-term delamination resistance of the finished 3LPE anti-corrosion coating in buried oil & gas service conditions.
Layer 3 - High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) Outer Protective Layer: Provides mechanical impact resistance, abrasion protection, and a waterproof barrier against soil stress and groundwater - delivering the complete three-layer polyethylene (3LPE) anti-corrosion system required by DIN 30670, BS EN 10329, AWWA C215, and DNV international pipeline coating standards.
