Automatic HDPE Outer Casing Pipe Extrusion Line for District Heating Systems

This pre-insulated pipe extrusion line is designed by absorbing advanced tube extrusion technology from Germany and improved by Qingdao Huashida Machinery Co., Ltd. The integrated system comprises extruder, vacuum calibration, cooling, pulling, cutting, and stacking components.

The line delivers exceptional performance in automatic operation, extrusion capacity, stability, and service life. Compared to internal pressure methods, the vacuum calibration method provides superior stiffness, pressure resistance, and surface smoothness.

Vacuum calibration method pre-insulated pipe outside casing extrusion line represents the most advanced and popular machinery worldwide. This technology supports energy-saving trenchless pipeline laying methods using pipes and fittings with industrial thermal insulation of rigid polyurethane foam (PUF insulation) in protective shells.

Pipelines with PUF insulation are designed for heating networks with working pressure of 1.6 MPa and water temperature up to 403°K (130°C), with short-term temperature increases to 423°K (150°C).

Piping PUF insulation and fittings form a rigid "pipe-in-pipe" structure consisting of:

• Steel or galvanized steel carrier pipe
• Layer of polyurethane foam insulation
• Outer jacket pipe protective layer of high-density polyethylene (for underground installation) or galvanized steel sheet (for above-ground installation)

Rigidity is achieved through strong bonds between the steel pipe, polyurethane insulation layer, and jacket pipe, supported by pre-shot blast cleaning, optimal polyurethane insulation performance, and corona surface treatment of polyethylene pipe shells.
