Product Overview

The 3LPE (Three-Layer Polyethylene) system is a multi-layered coating designed to provide industry-leading corrosion resistance and mechanical durability for buried steel pipelines.

The 3-Layer Structure

1. First Layer (Inner): Fusion-Bonded Epoxy (FBE). Provides a strong chemical bond to the steel and serves as the primary defense against corrosion.

2. Second Layer (Middle): Copolymer Adhesive. Acts as the "glue" that chemically bonds the epoxy layer to the outer polyethylene.

3. Third Layer (Outer): High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE). Provides rugged mechanical protection against impact, moisture, and environmental stress.
