3LPE (Three-Layer Polyethylene) coated steel pipes consist of a multi-layered structure designed for superior corrosion resistance and durability. The structure includes: First Layer: Fusion-bonded epoxy (FBE) for strong adhesion to the steel and excellent corrosion protection Second Layer: Copolymer adhesive for bonding the epoxy and PE layer Third Layer: High-density polyethylene (HDPE) for mechanical protection This three-layer coating is widely recognized as one of the most effective anti-corrosion systems for buried steel pipelines.
