The 3LPE (Three-Layer Polyethylene) Pipeline Coating System is an advanced anti-corrosion solution designed to provide long-term protection for steel pipelines operating in harsh and demanding environments. This high-performance coating line integrates cutting-edge technology to apply multi-layer protective coatings on both internal and external pipe surfaces, ensuring superior durability, reliability, and service life.

The 3LPE anti-corrosion coating extends the service life of steel pipes from 5-10 years to 50-100 years through three protective layers:

• First Layer: Fusion bonded epoxy (FBE >100µm)
• Second Layer: Adhesive (AD) 170-250µm
• Third Layer: Polyethylene (PE) stripe 2.5-3.7mm

The three-layer PE stripe wrapping process, with epoxy powder coating as bottom layer and binding adhesive as second layer, is the widely used technique in steel pipe anti-corrosion worldwide. Anti-corrosion steel pipes are applied in oil, gas, and water supply pipelines.

The three-layer PE anti-corrosion structure includes:

• Fusion bonded epoxy-powder bottom layer: Thermosetting nontoxic coating forming high molecular weight cross-linking structure with good chemical anti-corrosion and high mechanical properties
• Polymer adhesive middle layer: Agglutinates epoxy layer and polyethylene outside layer, uniting all three layers together
• Polyethylene outside layer: Protects the pipe from abrasion, bump, and water

Upload pipes → Pipes conveyor → Rust removal → Intermediate frequency heating → Epoxy powder coating → Middle layer & polyethylene stripe winding → Water cooling → Pipes conveyor → Pipe chamfer → Unload pipes
