Advanced 1420mm 3PE Coating Equipment for Large-Diameter Steel Pipes
The external 3PE anti-corrosion system consists of a three-layer structure: an epoxy powder base for corrosion resistance, a copolymer adhesive for interlayer adhesion, and an outer polyethylene layer for mechanical protection. The inner wall is coated with liquid epoxy to prevent corrosion from transported media. This comprehensive protection enhances service life and is widely used in oil, gas, and water pipeline engineering.
The external 3PE (Three-layer Polyethylene) anti-corrosion system consists of a three-layer composite structure: a fusion-bonded epoxy (FBE) powder primer provides fundamental corrosion resistance, an intermediate copolymer adhesive layer ensures high interlayer bonding strength, and an outer polyethylene (PE) layer provides excellent mechanical protection. The inner wall is coated with liquid epoxy, forming a dense barrier that prevents corrosion erosion from transported media (oil, gas, water). This combined inner-and-outer protection scheme offers synergistic, durable, and long-lasting performance, significantly extending the service life of steel pipes, and is widely applied in pipeline projects such as oil/gas transportation and municipal water supply and drainage.
