Product introduction
The pipeline heat‑shrinkable wraparound sleeve (HSS) features a polyethylene backing that has been crosslinked through radiation exposure, combined with a proprietary hot‑melt adhesive. An upgraded variant is also offered, which incorporates a glass‑fiber reinforcement layer within the backing to deliver improved performance.
During installation, application of heat causes the PE layer to contract and the adhesive to become fluid. As a result, the sleeve firmly envelops the pipe surface, creating a tight, continuous protective barrier. This heat‑shrinkable sleeve ultimately forms a durable, integrated anti‑corrosion casing that provides excellent resistance to corrosive agents, abrasive wear, mechanical impacts, ultraviolet light, and long‑term material degradation.
