INTRODUCTION

The Heat-Shrinkable Sleeve is made up of a cross-linked polyethylene backing and a special heat melt adhesive. The adhesive bonds well with the PE back, steel pipe, and Fusion bonded epoxy (FBE layer). Upon heating, the PE back shrinks, the adhesive layer melts, and tightly wraps around pipe joints, forming a strong and continuous anti-corrosion layer together with the FBE. It provides resistance against corrosion, wear, impact, UV, and aging while being easy to apply.

Our Heat shrinkable sleeve for the pipeline , developed by Qingdao Huashida Machinery Co., Ltd, consists of cross-linked polyethylene backing and a special heat melt adhesive. We have enhanced the traditional 2-layer sleeve by incorporating a 3-layer structure with the addition of a glass fiber net between the backing and adhesive, providing increased tensile strength and shrinkage capabilities. It remains durable against corrosion, wear, impact, UV, and aging while being simple to install.

Application:

The heat shrinkable sleeve/belt is suitable for steel pipe anti-corrosion coating, field joint corrosion protection of steel pipes with 3-layer or 2-layer polyethylene anti-corrosion coating, pre-insulated pipe sealing, as well as HDPE drainage and sewer pipeline jointing.
