  • Three-Roller Calender: Features three hard surface polished rollers with flawless mirror chrome plating for maximum heat transfer efficiency. Each roller has individual high-volume pressurized water temperature control for accurate temperature control and smooth, shiny sheet surfaces.

Working Principle

The plastic undergoes three states at different temperatures: The screw's pushing force changes the material from a glassy state to an elastic state and then to a viscous, fluid state. It flows out through the narrow gap of the die, after which the processes of calendering, cooling, shaping, edge cutting, haul-off, cutting, and winding take place.
