The three-layer polyethylene anti-corrosion coating, a leading technology, functions as the outermost protective layer for underground pipelines.  It is extensively used in the corrosion prevention of gas and oil transmission lines, municipal gas supply systems, water pipes, and other fluid transport conduits, enhancing pipeline mechanical capabilities with superior electrical insulation, waterproofing, durability, and anti-aging features.

Corrosion-resistant steel pipes are primarily categorized into two main types: internally treated and externally treated.
Internally treated steel pipes are widely used, relatively low-cost, and utilize a coating to protect the pipe's interior. Externally treated steel pipes are primarily 3PE-coated, a mainstream technology.
